2. Item 17 Public hearing, items 1 and 2 for DSTA contract negotiations-**-See attachment below for DSTA concerns **

Item 18.7 General Functions - Business Services--Application for Exemption from the Required Expenditures for Classroom Teachers' Salaries: Required to spend 55% of budget on teacher salaries but overly spent on mental health and counselling services, plus covid era Expanded Learning Opportunities.

Item 19.15 General Functions - Educational Services--First Reading of Revised Board Policy 1312.2, Instruction: COMPLAINTS CONCERNING INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS: Reflects new law SB 153 (2024) see BP 1312.2 below. Changes include considering if parents just “dislike ideas” and materials will NOT be banned if they are considered to have “diverse and/or inclusive perspectives”.
