The Time is Nigh, Will California School District’s Die over DEI?

School districts in California and nationwide face a new dilemma now--who to obey.

We tried to warn school districts, especially over the last four years, that their policies were misguided, to say the least. Wait. With the overwhelming mandate given to President Trump in the 2024 Presidential election, we no longer need to settle for saying the least.

So, let’s say the most. The policies of school districts around the nation, controlled by Marxist educrats, democrat politicians, and teachers unions, have been downright evil.

We will never forget the school closures, the masking, the mass testing, the near daily emails pushing China-Lab Virus vaccine clinics, the CRT, the DEI, the age-inappropriate sex education, the porn in the physical and online libraries, the perverted obsession with “gender transitioning” kids, MTSS, PBIS, SEL, the over the top melodramatics if you didn’t buy into the propaganda, and the malicious targeting of those that attempted to point out common sense rooted in available evidence.

The school districts mocked us. We were told by school boards that their hands were tied, and they had to do what the state told them. Collectively, school boards put their hands over their ears and sang “La La La La La La” when presented with facts, evidence and common sense.

Will we ever know how many citizens were reported by school districts to the Biden DOJ/FBI as domestic terrorists? Since the people that did the reporting are likely still in the school system, shouldn’t we know? The school districts will never release that information, not even through public records requests. Been there done that. Maybe soon-to-be Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel could help us out with that.

Showdown

That was then, this is now.

School districts, especially in California, have now rationalized, under the auspices of Marxist educational theory (CRT, DEI, Gender = Equity), themselves into a corner. No longer are they backed by totalitarian state and federal governments, they only have the cool kids at the French Laundry table to give them cover.

School districts loved to virtue signal about “equity,” in all its heinous forms, including gender ideology, while failing to take any leadership role because they were “doing what they were told.”

The citizens school boards mocked are still their constituents, if they didn’t flee the area, and are now backed by a Common-Sense Federal government, complete with fresh Executive Orders to fill the citizens’ quivers. The school districts are backed by a fresh new statement by ‘Lil Rascal and Our Gang leader, Governor Gavin Newsom and California Attorney General, Rob Bonta. School Districts are also sticking to their argument that secretly changing your child’s gender is no different than calling Robert “Bob”.

Executive Orders

President Trump signed two Executive Orders on January 29, 2025, that school districts should be very concerned about because it could affect their finances. The Executive Orders are “Ending Radical Indoctrination in K-12 Schooling,” and “Expanding Educational Freedom and Opportunities For Families.”

The purpose of the ending indoctrination Executive Order was:

“Parents trust America’s schools to provide their children with a rigorous education and to instill a patriotic admiration for our incredible Nation and the values for which we stand.
In recent years, however, parents have witnessed schools indoctrinate their children in radical, anti-American ideologies while deliberately blocking parental oversight. Such an environment operates as an echo chamber, in which students are forced to accept these ideologies without question or critical examination. In many cases, innocent children are compelled to adopt identities as either victims or oppressors solely based on their skin color and other immutable characteristics. In other instances, young men and women are made to question whether they were born in the wrong body and whether to view their parents and their reality as enemies to be blamed. These practices not only erode critical thinking but also sow division, confusion, and distrust, which undermine the very foundations of personal identity and family unity.”

The Executive Order states that the Trump administration will “ensure that recipients of Federal funds providing K-12 education comply with all applicable laws prohibiting discrimination in various contexts and protecting parental rights, including Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Title VI), 42 U.S.C. 2000d et seq.; Title IX, 20 U.S.C. 1681 et seq.; FERPA, 20 U.S.C. 1232g; and the PPRA, 20 U.S.C. 1232h.”

The Executive Order also mentions returning education to teaching patriotism and a love for the United States by, in part, bringing back the 1776 Commission. New curriculum is required to replace the “anti-American ideologies” of today that teach “the United States is fundamentally racist, sexist, or otherwise discriminatory.”

Did you know that even in California it is illegal for schools to advocate for Communism? True story and one a particular Swamp Drainer reminded me of recently.

California Education Code 51530 states that no“…teacher giving instruction in any school, or on any property belonging to any agencies included in the public school system, shall advocate or teach communism with the intent to indoctrinate or to inculcate in the mind of any pupil a preference for communism.”

Communism is defined as “…a political theory that the presently existing form of government of the United States or of this state should be changed, by force, violence, or other unconstitutional means, to a totalitarian dictatorship which is based on the principles of communism as expounded by Marx, Lenin, and Stalin.”

Would displaying BLM, Antifa, or the Trans cult flag violate such laws? I

As a side note, the history, government, and economics textbooks largely in use in California schools today teach that communism is a political theory whereas socialism is an economic theory. Socialism is talked up as not being so bad and is really in every country in some form, i.e. Mixed economies. While true communist countries, like North Korea, barely exist at all, not even China. Yea Socialism.

What is that quote from Lenin? Oh yes, “the goal of socialism is communism.” Indeed, as history.com puts it, “Marxists often refer to socialism as the first, necessary phase on the way from capitalism to communism.”

That is the textbooks, which is what you would get if you asked to see the curriculum. Many teachers go off script though, utilizing apps such as Newsela, or other resources not necessarily found in any official documentation.

School Choice

In the Executive Order Expanding Educational Freedom, President Trump cites the dismal performance of “government-run public schools” and how States that have passed school choice legislation have seen vast improvements in academic performance.

Trump wrote that those “…States have highlighted the most promising avenue for education reform: educational choice for families and competition for residentially assigned, government-run public schools. The growing body of rigorous research demonstrates that well-designed education-freedom programs improve student achievement and cause nearby public schools to improve their performance.

Trump state that families should decide the educational setting for children, not the government. The Executive Order allows for 90 days to study the situation before advising States how they can use Federal funds for school choice options. That is not to say, as far as I can see, that school choice is a done deal in California. We’ll see what happens.

California

Meanwhile in California, which often times seems like a galaxy far, far away from reality, Governor Gavin Newsom is working (and failing so far) to waste $50 million to “Trump Proof” the State and is sure to release a gesticulating video statement on how he is protecting “trans kids rights.” Attorney General Rob Bonta is posting lame memes on his X account.

The question is, who will California school boards place their money, and their careers (if at all salvageable) on? Newsom and his gang of ‘Lil Rascals, who have made California a “Sanctuary State” for illegal aliens, illegal voting, and for kidnapped children to receive illegal “gender affirming” surgery. Or, on President Trump, who is bringing freedom and prosperity back to America, where it belongs.

Choose wisely school board trustees. You previously excused your egregious and dastardly actions by braying how you had to follow the law. Well, there is a new law of the land, will you follow it? School boards will also be entering, with school choice, the land of competition where the best ideas win. Where do you think families, that don’t want to worry about their children being surreptitiously inducted into a cult and transformed into one of 74 make-believe genders, are going to take their money?

Do not let the school boards memory hole what they have done in the name of Equity! Not to mention “following the science.” Make every school board official, every elected democrat for that matter, start every campaign speech and school board meeting with: “We believe we have the right to take your children and secretly sexually transition them before sending them off to be pumped full of sterilizing drugs and surgical mutilation, AND, it is only a nick-name change because….”
